I graduated in 2020 from King's College London after a fantastic 5 years at Dental School. I was delighted to have been awarded many prizes and honours throughout my time at university, and to graduate with Distinction in all my final year exams. Prior to studying Dentistry, I also achieved my B.Sc (Hons) in Biomedical Science and a Masters of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.
I am originally from Newry in Northern Ireland, and after applying through national recruitment, was awarded my first choice Dental Foundation Scheme for my first post as a qualified dentist in County Down.
I am currently working in County Dublin, where I provide all aspects of general, family and cosmetic dentistry, and have a keen interest in minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry, short term orthodontics and facial aesthetics treatments.
Throughout my time at Dental School I have enjoyed treating hundreds of patients and helping them achieve their oral healthcare goals. I enjoy working with people of all ages, and love being able to help patients who are anxious about coming to their dental appointments!
Since graduating from dental school I have completed further training and attended courses in advanced techniques in composite bonding, short term orthodontics and dental photography.
During my studies at King's, I was also elected as the student representative for our university within the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. I attended many study days specifically aimed towards helping young dentists with particular interests in cosmetic dentistry, and also attended the 2019 Annual BACD Conference in London, which was a wonderful opportunity to learn from some of the leading international clinicians.
I am so delighted to have finally qualified as a dentist after 10 years and 3 degrees, but I understand the struggles that many students experience to make their dreams come true to get into dental school. Over the last decade I have learned so much about the process of applying and being successful in getting into Dentistry, and my goal is to help and advise as many prospective students as possible. If you have any questions or need any advice I would be delighted to help you - so please send me a message and I will get back to you as quickly as possible.
